journeyman Builders

  • 4 years minimum of experience

    Competent plan-reading knowledge including:

    • Shear nailing schedules

    • Window & door schedules

    • Ability to identify building dimensions including: wall dimensions, stud size, joist size, etc.

    • Ability to follow structural & architectural details

  • Competent Skill & Knowledge of Demolition, Grading & Excavation, Foundation, Framing, Decks, Finish Carpentry.

foreman Builders

  • 6 years minimum work experience:

    • Completion of 4 year apprenticeship

    • Completion of 2 years minimum as a Journeyman

    • Completion of 1 year minimum as a Lead Journeyman

    Expert plan-reading knowledge of In-House Trades.

    Expert Skill & Knowledge of In-House Trades and basic knowledge of other trades.

Superintendents

  • 8 years minimum work experience:

    • Completion of 4 year apprenticeship

    • Completion of 2 years minimum as a Journeyman

    • Completion of 2 years minimum as a Foreman

  • Expert plan-reading knowledge of In-House Trades.

  • Expert Skill & Knowledge of In-House Trades and basic knowledge of other trades.

Project Managers

  • 8 years of building experience minimum. Bachelor degrees in Construction Management may be counted as 4 years experience. Masters degrees in Construction Management may be counted as 6 years experience.

  • Master plan-reading knowledge of in-house trades and competent plan-reading knowledge of all other trades.

  • Master skill & knowledge of all in-house trades, and competent knowledge of all subcontracted trades.

ESTIMATORS

  • 4 years minimum of building experience. Bachelor degrees in Construction Management or Estimating may be counted as 4 years experience.

  • Basic plan-reading knowledge

  • Competent Knowledge of in-house trades
